This page was designed to keep you up to date with our IPAC Champion training that we offer to all of our MCCSS Homes, Shelters & Supportive Housing, and Hospices. To keep up to date with our registration or sign up information and training dates, please check out our Upcoming Events page for details.
If you have any questions or you’re interested in the training outside of our offered dates, please contact a member of the hub to request training ad hoc. We offer this training in-person and virtually. However, we strongly recommend the in-person training based on previous feedback from our champions because of the interactive activities we have planned for the training.

<aside> 🗓️ Our next training block will occur from June 3 through June 28. Sign up will open on Monday May 13 at 0800 and close on Tuesday May 21 at 1130. In the interest of fairness to all hub members and all organizations, we will not be following up on requests for extensions or specific training dates and times. Scheduling will continue to occur based on the order the sign up forms are received from all settings. Fall training will be available in October & November.

Below is the schedule for the remainder of the 2024 year for homes interested in planning ahead. If you have any questions about the sign up or training, please email Sebrina Lam. A permanent schedule will be posted towards the end of the year in preparation for 2025.

CLS & Agency IPAC Champion Training.pdf
This is the first training that staff will be offered if they have never completed our previous rounds of our IPAC Champion training in 2023. The training is one 90 minute session focused on hand hygiene, PPE, routine practices vs additional precautions, and point of care risk assessment (PCRA). We are offering this session in conjunction with Session #2 or as a stand alone training session with the second session being arranged at a later time by the manager.
The second session can be completed within the same week as Session #1 or the week after. This session is also available for any staff who completed IPAC Champion training in 2023.
