This page was designed to keep you up to date with our IPAC Champion training that we offer to all of our MCCSS Homes, Shelters & Supportive Housing, and Hospices. To keep up to date with our registration or sign up information and training dates, please check out our Upcoming Events page for details.
If you have any questions or you’re interested in the training outside of our offered dates, please contact Sebrina Lam, RN BScN CIC to request training ad hoc. We offer this training in-person and virtually. However, we strongly recommend the in-person training based on previous feedback from our champions because of the interactive activities we have planned for the training.

Below is the schedule for the start of 2025 for homes interested in planning ahead. If you have any questions about the sign up or training, please email Sebrina Lam, RN BScN CIC.

This is the first training that staff will be offered if they have never completed our previous rounds of our IPAC Champion training. The training is one 90 minute session focused on hand hygiene, PPE, routine practices vs additional precautions, and point of care risk assessment (PCRA). We are offering this session in conjunction with Session #2 or as a stand alone training session with the second session being arranged at a later time by the manager.
The second session can be completed within the same week as Session #1 or the week after. This session is also available for any staff who completed IPAC Champion training in 2023.
