Hi Everyone!

Our annual fall preparation workshop was held on Thursday August 27, 2026. This year’s workshop was a full day to go over all things respiratory and enteric outbreak management; as well as respiratory vaccine preparation.

This workshop was a mix of educational content and interactive activities to better support your fall preparation and outbreak preparedness plans. We will also had guest speakers from Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Waterloo Regional Health Network, and Region of Waterloo Public Health. The agenda can be found below.

Our intended audience for this event was:

• IPAC leads/managers in LTCH
• Directors of health and wellness in RHs
• Managers in CLSs
• Any other staff who support outbreak preparation, outbreak management, outbreak debriefs, and vaccination clinics.
