Hi Everyone!

We will be hosting our annual fall preparation workshop on Thursday August 27, 2026. This year’s workshop will be a full day to go over all things respiratory and enteric outbreak management; as well as respiratory vaccine preparation. Light breakfast, lunch, and afternoon refreshments will be provided. However, if you prefer to bring your own snacks or food, you can definitely do so.

This workshop will be a mix of educational content and interactive activities to better support your fall preparation and outbreak preparedness plans. We will also have guest speakers from Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Waterloo Regional Health Network, and Region of Waterloo Public Health. The agenda can be found below. Our intended audience for this event are:

• IPAC leads/managers in LTCH
• Directors of health and wellness in RHs
• Managers in CLSs
• Any other staff who support outbreak preparation, outbreak management, outbreak debriefs, and vaccination clinics.
